Honors Exploration Proposal Form
Honors Explorations are short-term, noncredit learning experiences that revolve around unique topics. Explorations go beyond the regular curriculum and investigate a specific interest/study that integrates discussion, experiential learning, current events, or pop culture. Each innovative Honors Exploration is limited to no more than 25 Honors students from any major.
Subject matter specialists within Illinois State University are invited by the Honors Program to propose Honors Explorations. In addition to the topic of study, Honors Explorations should emphasize one or more of the Dimensions of Honors Learning.
Prospective instructors are encouraged to verify with their supervisors that teaching an Honors Exploration fits with other responsibilities.
