Honors First Year Scholarship

The Honors Program awards this modest tuition scholarship to select incoming freshmen who have applied directly and been admitted to the Honors Program. 

Applications to the Honors Program received by February 15, 2024 will automatically be considered for the Honors First Year Scholarship, no additional application is necessary. Prospective students who have demonstrated exceptional writing skills in their Honors application essay are eligible for consideration. Not all students who are eligible will receive the scholarship.

The Honors First Year Scholarship is awarded as a tuition waiver only for the first year and is non-renewable. Recipients of this scholarship are identified apart from the Jesse W. Fell Scholarship application process. Finalists of the Jesse W. Fell Scholarship are not eligible for the Honors First Year Scholarship.
